Ladies and Gentleman. I will take my leave of you. I will not leave you with Bilbo Baggins' poem or any of that. I will just go.
But I will leave a few reasons:
Diaryland, as much as I dearly love some of the people here, is no longer the tight, interwoven community it once was. People no longer give feedback, and it feels remote and cold. This, paired with the lack of free comment feature and many of my friends' decision to leave, leaves me with few options, because I don't feel as if many read, anyway.
And so. My journal has moved to Livejournal. Username is devilscarpet. Link is: here.
But I will still be around, for the few of you left. I swear to religiously watch my friends list, at least for the next 3 months. I will read like I always have. I merely won't be posting.
Now I am off for the ardous task of saving all of these files and organizing them. I don't want the events recorded here to be forgotten.
I feel as if I am betraying Diaryland, the system I have used so long. But I love you guys.
